Member, representing Ilorin East/South Federal Constituency in the 10th National Assembly, Dr. Ahmed Yinka Aluko PhD. has commiserated the Kwara State Deputy Governor, Kayode Alabi, over the death of his mother, Mama Ena Muad Alabi.
The nonagenarian passed away in the wee hours of Friday.
The lawmaker in a condolence message personally signed by him, said: “It is with a heavy heart that I received the sad news of the passing of Mrs Ena Maud Alabi, the mother of the Deputy Governor of Kwara State, H.E. Kayode Alabi, a beloved brother and friend of ages.
“Mrs. Alabi lived a remarkable life, embodying the virtues of a devout Christian for 98 years. She was a mother who dedicated herself to a life of faith and service to humanity. Her transition yesterday, on Friday, April 5th, marks a significant point in the life of man.
Aluko further prayed to grant the deceased eternal peace and “provide comfort to Deputy Governor Kayode Alabi and the entire family during this difficult time.”
“I also extend my heartfelt condolences to our executive governor, Mall. Abdulrahaman Abdulrazaq, and the entire state. May God’s blessings continue to sustain our state during this period of mourning.”
