Director-General of the All Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign Council and Governor of Plateau State, Simon Lalong, once again gave assurance that the northern governors are unrelentingly working for the victory of the party’s presidential candidate Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.
Lalong made this comment, Monday, January 23 during the party’s presidential campaign rally in Bauchi State.
He further affirmed the unwavering support of the northern governors towards the party’s presidential candidate, Tinubu and his running mate, Kashim Shettima.
Lalong maintained that the Bauchi electorate love for Muhammadu Buhari would be transferred to Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the State APC gubernatorial candidate, Air Marshal Sadique Baba Abubakar.
He stressed, “Mr. President, you said that is your legacy and your legacy would be the transfer today from Bauchi to the Jagaban of Borgu and his running mate. And that is going to be jealously guided, as I heard, by no other person than Air Marshal Sadique Baba Abubakar himself”.
Taking his turn to speak, Kebbi State Governor, Senator Bagudu, thanked President Buhari for “many people-centered policies which enriched poor farmers and aided the poor and vulnerable.”
He said APC governors were solidly behind the APC candidate in line with the directive of the President for all party members to ensure the victory of “his friend and partner, Asiwaju Tinubu.”
Bagudu admonished the Bauchi populace to massively vote for Tinubu come February 25 the way they voted for Buhari in the past.
