The Social Democratic Party, (SDP) in Oyo State has announced that it would work for the victory of the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, (APC), Bola Tinubu and the governorship candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, (PDP) in Oyo state, Seyi Makinde in the forthcoming general elections
The National Deputy Secretary, Chief Simeon Adewale Adeshina, the state chairman, Hon. Kola Balogun, the 2019 gubernatorial candidate of the party, Chief Ayorinde and other members of the party made this declaration in Ibadan, the state capital.
They described the two candidates as accomplished politicians with enviable track records as administrators, further added that Makinde had in less than four years of governing the state endeared himself to the people of as a trustworthy personality.
The stakeholders said the governor has created an indelible imprint in terms of governance in Oyo state with arrays of achievements across board.
“The laudable development projects are numerous which include d Iwo road interchange and Bus Terminal. The completion of d Ibadan Shaki – Iseyin Road, Emmanuel Alayandele University of Education, the reconstructed sports stadiums, the modern bus transport system, the prompt payment of pensions and all civil servants salaries, the unprecedented 13th-month yearly Salary payments to all civil servants, the motor Garage park management system which has brought succour to commuters and transport operators in Oyo State.”
The party chieftains therefore implored their supporters to cast their votes for Tinubu and Makinde in the forthcoming general elections
