The All Progressives Congress presidential candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, will be meeting with the five aggrieved Governors of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in London, the United Kingdom to put a final touch to their agreement.

The governors, Nyesom Wike (Rivers), Seyi Makinde (Oyo), Samuel Ortom (Benue), Okezie Ikpeazu (Abia), and Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi (Enugu), have been involved in a brawl with the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, ahead of the 2023 general election since the end the party’s primary, last May.

Barrister Wike, who is leader of the integrity group recently revealed that he would announce his choice of presidential candidate in January 2023.

The five disgruntled Governors are currently at a loggerheads with Atiku over his refusal to honour the pre-primary agreement that once he became the party’s presidential candidate, the position of the National Chairman would be ceded to the southern region, thereby causing the current chairman, Sen. Iyorchia Ayu who is also from the Northern region to resign.

Recently, It was reported that Wike in company his associates travelled to London, the United Kingdom in order to meet with their preferred presidential candidate for the 2023 presidency.

A source reported that Tinubu would negotiate with the disgruntled PDP governors abroad this week.

Though, no exact date was quoted for the meeting.

“The support by G5 for Tinubu is going to be a game changer, akin to the declaration of the G6 for the APC in 2014.

“We are meeting with the group this week in Europe to firm up the arrangement. They are first-class nationalists who believe in the Nigeria project and we shall work together for the good of the nation,” Daily Trust quoted the source as saying.
