Ahead of the forthcoming 2023 general elections, the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Tinubu arrived Ondo state on Sunday, 30 October,2022 to meet with the leader of the pan-Yoruba social-cultural organisation, Afenifere, Pa Reuben Fasoranti in his Akure country home.
The former Lagos state governor will be presenting his Action Plan on how to chart a new developmental courses for the country to the Yoruba cultural and political organisation.
The 80-page manifesto document titled, ‘Renewed Hope’ was formally launched in Abuja on 21 October by President Muhammadu Buhari.
With the arrival of Tinubu and his entourage, party enthusiasts as well as some residents of the state flocked out to welcome him to the sunshine state.
Senator Tinubu stormed the state in company of Chief Bisi Akande, Senator Adeyeye, Senator Iyiola Omisore and many others.
There were insinuations that Tinubu, who has been at a loggerhead with hierarchy of the pan-Yoruba movement is ready for reconciliation.
