2023: we will surprise Nigerians–Saraki on PDP crisis

The 13th president of the Nigerian Senate and 8th Chair of the National Assembly, Dr Bukola Saraki, stated that the crisis between the People’s Democratic Party’s Presidential Candidate, Atiku Abubakar, Governor Nyesom Wike and other four aggrieved governors: S’eyi Makinde (Oyo State); Samuel Ortom (Benue State); Okezie Ikpeazu (Abia State) and Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi (Enugu State) will soon end.

Saraki made this statement in llorin on Monday while speaking with newsmen at the 10th remembrance prayer organized for his late father, the former senate leader, Dr Olusola Saraki.

He noted: “PDP will surprise Nigerians. We are going to work together to better the lot of Nigeria.

“This is because we all think about the challenges of the nation and how to surmount them.”

He gave assurance that children of the late philanthropist will “sustain his legacies of making sure lives of the people are better as well as stand for the truth. Though, it is not easy to stand for the truth, but I am out to stand for a better Kwara.”

The remembrance prayer which was held inside the Ilorin Central Mosque was attended by creme de la creme from within and outside Ilorin.
