One time Governor of Lagos State, Akinwunmi Ambode has on Friday, July 14 visited President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Ambode’s visit to the Presidential Villa has been described by many political commentators in the country as a strategy to reconnect with his former political leader.
Recall that Ambode parted ways with Tinubu in 2019 when he failed to secure a returning ticket to contest for second term as Lagos State Governor over purported claim that he was spearheading plans to undermine Tinubu’s structures in the state.
The duo had met and exchanged pleasantries with each other when Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on June 29 hosted President Bola Tinubu at the Lagos House, Marina.
