It is appointment galore as Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has forwarded the names of Hajia Sa’adatu Modibbo-Kawu and Abubakar Sadiq Buhari to the State Assembly as commissioner-nominees for Ilorin South Local Government Area and Edu Local Government Area respectively.
Sa’adatu, was in the past in charge of Tertiary Education, Science and Technology and Ministry of Education and Human Capital Development while Buhari was until his appointment the representative of Kwara North at the National Youth Parliament.
Meanwhile, the governor appointed: Mohammed Alhassan (Agric, North); Mohammed Qazeem Abdullahi (Agric, Central); Ismail Belle (Transport, North); Adewara Olugbenga (Teacher, South); Kawala Isiaka Olalabi (Teacher, Central); Shola Babatunde Richard Alayoyo (Agric, South); Rashidat Ayobami Olateju (Urban Market, South); and Umulkhaera Ahmed Alaye (Urban Market, Central) as new special assistants.
The appointments were contained in a press release signed by the Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Rafiu Ajakaye on Wednesday, November 9, 2022.
According to Ajakaye, the appointments of the Special Assistants are with immediate effect.
