Kwara state governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, has appointed His Royal Highness Oba Joel Olaniyi Oyatoye Titiloye as the new Oloro of Oro.
The monarch is in the 2nd Class royal ranking in Irepodun Local Government Area of Kwara State.
Honourable Abdullahi Abubakar Bata, the Commissioner for Local Government, Chieftaincy Affairs and Community Development, said that the appointment of the traditional ruler was in line with all the laid down procedures.
In a related development, the governor also ratified the appointment of His Royal Highness Oba Adebayo Olanrewaju Ismail as the Gbamoyin of Jimba Oja as 4th Class king in the Ifelodun Local Government Area of Kwara State.
The Commissioner in a statement said, presentation of the Staff of the Office is slated to hold on Sunday, 27th October 2024.
