Nollywood actress Yvonne Jegede has dispelled insinuations that she secretly tied the nuptial knot with Senator Ned Nwoko, the husband to the popular Nollywood actress, Regina Daniels.
Jegede is a colleague and friend to Regina Daniel.
The 39-year-old talented actress took to her official Instagram account on Friday, sharing a video clip from an entertainment blog claiming she deleted the pictures off her page following her court wedding with Nwoko.
The Edo born thespian debunked the rumours, stating that the blogger’s assertion contained no iota of reality and aimed at generating traffic to his news platform.
She wrote, “When many people tell you they know ‘something’ is happening or believe something has happened, you asked them how they got to know, they tell you they read or heard it from the Internet.
However, she accused the blogger of tarnishing her reputation with the false post that she tied the nuptial knot with lawmaker secretly.
“Oftentimes, they heard it from idiots like the person talking in this shameless and false post. How could you be this bold about falsehood? How can you lie so confidently? How can you intentionally tarnish people’s image and damage relationships all because you want to attract people to your blogs?
Jegede furthered that she wouldn’t waste her energy on the trivial claim, noting that karma would naturally deal with the purveyor of the maligning post.
“This funny post is evil and false in every intent. I won’t dissipate energy fighting you. Karma is already dealing with your destiny because if you have one, you won’t be all gas up about other people’s lives when yours is tattered.
She maintained that deleting her personal pictures on her social media account should be nobody’s business.
“How does deleting my photos on my page give off anything??? 🤷🏽♀️ The effrontery to mention my son sef, I suppose give you one dirty slap.”
