Inter Milan and forward Arsenal winger, Alexis Sanchez, has named Brazilian legend Ronaldo Nazario as the best footballer the world has ever produced.

The Chile International rates the former Real Madrid and Inter Milan forward ahead of Argentina’s Lionel Messi and Portugal’s Cristiano Ronaldo.

Sanchez was opportuned to have featured alongside Messi during his short stay at Camp Nou before committing his future to Arsenal after the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.

Sanchez left Arsenal for the English Premier League rival, Manchester United, in exchange for Henrikh Mkhitaryan.

Unfortunately, the former Barcelona forward’s time at United was shortlived by poor performance, necessitating his move to Italy Milan, where he is currently plyjng his trade.

Although Sanchez and Cristiano Ronaldo never had the opportunity of playing together as teammates.

Chile International played against the Portugal international 17 times.

Speaking on the GOAT debate, Sanchez said (via MD Futbol): “Ronaldo [Brazilian Ronaldo], the Phenomenon for me, is the world number one.

“I have played with many strong players, I have seen Messi and Ronaldo up close, but he is something else.

“When he made that fake and went at a mile an hour, it was incredible, a beautiful thing to see in football.”
