Aluko expresses gratitude for success of 3rd Annual Ramadan Lecture

Member, representing Ilorin East/South Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives, Hon. Yinka Aluko Aluko PhD. has expressed his elation at the hitchfree 3rd Annual Ramadan lecture.

The programme took place on Saturday at the Ikokoro quarters, Isale Aluko, Ilorin, the capital city of kwara.

The lawmker in his appreciation message said, “The Hadith of the Holy Prophet teaches, whoever is not thankful to people is not thankful to Allah,” and Quran 14 verse 7 emphasizes, “If you are grateful [to Me], I shall most certainly give you more and more; but if you are ungrateful, verily, My chastisement will be severe indeed!”

Aluko, therefore, thanked the Almighty Allah and individuals who played vutal roles in the success of our 3rd Annual Ramadan lecture.

He furthered that this year’s event was of immense importance as a representative of his constituency, causing him to reflect on the blessings of the Almighty.

“I extend my utmost appreciation to the executive governor and the leader of our esteemed party, H.E. Abdulrahaman Abdulrazaq, for his outstanding leadership and exemplary stewardship. Likewise, I express gratitude to the Speaker of the House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Yakubu Saliu Danladi, for his affection and backing. May God continue to uphold peaceful coexistence in our beloved state and across Nigeria.

“I am profoundly grateful to all the members of my family in Ikokoro for their unwavering support and camaraderie. I especially appreciate my brother, Retired Chief Justice Sulyman Durosinlohun Kawu, for attending the event before its commencement. I pray to Allah to sustain His blessings upon all of us.

He also appreciated the traditional chiefs under the leaderhip of Emir, Dr. Ibrahim SuluGambari, the League of Imams and Ulamaus, and the religious groups who graced the occasion.

“Special thanks are due to the Guest Lecturer, Ustaz Al-Imam Ibrahim Musa Gbodofu, for delivering an excellent lecture on the topic, “How to survive in the current economic challenges as individuals and family.” I pray to Allah to sustain the Ustaz in knowledge and steadfastness. I equally appreciate the Quran reciters, Madiyyu Nabbiy, and Azkhir chanters. May Allah reward them abundantly.”

“I extend my heartfelt thanks to my colleague in the Green Chamber of the National Assembly, Hon. Mukhtar Shagaya, who was represented by Alh. Muftau Akanbi Oke, and all the members of the Kwara State House of Assembly who were present or represented. Similarly, I appreciate all members of our great party, the All Progressive Congress, for their unwavering support.”

“Despite flight delays preventing him from attending the event, I commend the Senator Representing our resourceful senatorial district, Distinguished Senator Saliu Mustapha, the Turakin Gerin of Ilorin, for joining me at my GRA Residence to mark the event and extend greetings. May Allah honour him abundantly.

“Additionally, I congratulate and appreciate the organizing committee and members of my cabinets for another groundbreaking program. I also extend gratitude to the media team and all the invited media houses for their unwavering support and dedication.

“In conclusion, in line with my campaign slogan and promises, I assure you of my unwavering commitment to providing credible representation and remain open to your advice and constructive criticism. May Allah bless us all and accept all our efforts during this month of Ramadan as acts of worship.”
