The female wing of the All Progressives Congress National Executive Committee has passed a vote of no confidence on the party’s National woman leader, Betta Edu.
Hon. Omorede Osifo, APC Deputy National Treasurer, and eight others expressed their dissatisfaction with Betta in a letter sent to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Saturday.
It would be recalled that Edu and APC leaders had recently visited Tinubu at the Presidential Villa.
However, the APC women executives and zonal leaders distanced themselves from her recent visit to the President.
They maintained that Edu’s visit to the Presidential Villa was self-serving, noting that the woman leader does not represent the interest of the NEC.
