Arsenal has, on Tuesday, August 15, 2023, announced the signing of Spanish goalkeeper David Raya.
David joined Arsenal on a long season loan from Brentford after the Gunners paid £3 million loan fee with the option to buy the player for £27 million on a permanent basis.
Recall that the North London club sold their second option goalkeeper, Matt Turner, to Nottingham Forest in the current transfer summer.
Turner, who featured against his old club in the first match English Premier League game l, left Arsenal in search of game time in order to tie down his starting berth in the American national team.
David will wear the number 22 jersey as the club management welcomed him to the club.
