Three persons have been confirmed dead in a fatal road accident which took place on the Akure-Owo Expressway, Akure, the Ondo State capital, on Sunday morning.
The accident, which involved a Toyota Sienna bus and an 18-passenger bus, twelve persons were reported to have sustained injuries of varying degrees.

The Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps, Mr Ezekiel SonAllah, confirmed the incident said it was caused by reckless driving and speed disregard for traffic guidelines by the drivers involved.
