President Muhammadu Buhari has reappointed Mallam Shekarau Dauda Omar, as the Executive Director of Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) in the Bank of Industry (BOI), for another term of four years.
Spokesperson to the Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, Ifedayo Sayo confirmed the reappointment of Omar, whose first tenure would expire on March 5, 2023, for another four years.
Omar, has reformed the SME Directorate by expanding its portfolio and improving the risk assets quality.

Buhari also appointed Ms Mabel Ndagi, as Executive Director, effective March 19, 2023.
The statement read, “Ndagi will be replacing a retiring Executive Director, Toyin Adeniji, who would be retiring March 18, 2023, after serving her second and final term in office.
“She is currently the General Manager, Government and External Communications for the Bank of Industry, Ms Ndagi has served diligently in the bank for over 16 years”, the statement read.
