Brazil, 14 other countries exit 2023 Womens’ World Cup

Brazil has bowed out of the 2023 Women’s World Cup being co-hosted by New Zealand and Australia.

Jamaica goalless draw with the Seleção on Wednesday, led th their elimination.

The South American country has failed to advance to the knockout stage for the first time in only their second Women’s World Cup.

The Seleção recorded their earliest elimination since 1995 while the point saw the Reggae Girlz finish second behind France.

The other teams who have been shown the exit door from the championship include co-hosts New Zealand, the Philippines, Olympic champions Canada, The Republic of Ireland and Zambia.
