Brighton and Belgian winger, Leandro Trossard will be joining the North London Club as full agreement has been reached between Arsenal and Brighton and Hove Albion.
The two Premier League teams agreed £27million deal on Thursday evening including add ons fee.
Reports about Arsenal interest in the Belgian player gained traction on Thursday morning and in a speedy move, Arsenal has reached agreement with the club and the player’s camp.
The Gunners are in a dire need of reinforcement, especially in the midfield department in order to advance their EPL dream. The deal, when completed would be Arsenal’s first winter business since the London rival, Chelsea leapfrogged the EPL leaders to sign Shakhtar Donetsk prodigy, Mykhailo Mudryk in a €100m deal last week.
Medical tests and other formalities will be done in London before Saturday in preparation for Arsenal’s game against fellow EPL contender, Manchester United on Sunday.
The club is currently working on another major arrival as they are intent on winning the EPL since 2004.
