Popular Nigerian musician, Olawale Ibrahim Ashimi, better known as Brymo, has he refused to feature his female colleague, Simi.
In response to a fan, asking him to collaborate with Simi’s husband, Adekunle Gold, on his upcoming album, ‘Tequila Ever After’, Brymo maintained that both Adekunle Gold and his wife, Simi, had previously contacted him to work together, but he turned down their offer.
He continued that he shunned request to feature Simi in particular because she failed to “get intimate” with him.
Brymo wrote: “Though AG reached out later, I like to think that he didn’t check in again, by will or fate, because I turned down same request many years before. I also did same with Simi, said I wanted to get intimate to create intensity. I didn’t know they were together, of course.”
