As part of its resolve to open the state for more economic prosperity, BUA Group has secured the greenlight to repair four major roads in Kwara State.

The Federal Executive Council (FEC) the granted approvals under the Infrastructure Tax Credit Scheme (Executive Order 7).

The state governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq made this disclosure in Ilorin, the state capital on Wednesday in a personally signed statement.

The roads include Kosubosu-Kaiama-Bode Saadu (130km); Bacita-Shonga-Lafiagi (83km); Eiyenkorin-Afon-Offa-Odo Ottin (49km); and Okuta-Bukuro Road, which connects to the Benin Republic (32km) making a total of 294km in all.

AbdulRahman said when completed, the infrastructures would ease the stress of road travels within Kwara and nearby states.

He further revealed the projects would bring about immense development and food security.

The governor, however, appreciated President Muhammadu Buhari for the development.

“We similarly commend BUA for keying into the laudable initiative. Our administration will offer all the support to make these projects come through for the benefit of our people,” he added.
