Brighton midfielder, Moises Caicedo, is intent to forcing his move to Chelsea this summer transfer after the Seagulls have turned down several offers from Chelsea.
The Ecuadorian refused to train with Brighton on Monday, August 7, 2023.
Caicedo was also not part of Brighton’s final pre-season game against Rayo Vallecano on Sunday, with the club saying the 21-year-old was out as a result of a hamstring injury.
Last week, Chelsea saw an £80 million turned down by Brighton for the box-to-box midfielder.
The Seagull are subtly demanding a huge transfer fee similar to that of West Ham United’s Declan Rice, who signed for Arsenal in a deal worth £105 million.
With Brighton insistence on a huge valuation for the prizeasset, Caicedo might be forced to put for a move to join the West London Club before the closure of the transfer market.
