Crystal Palace Mall demolition: MM’s brother resigns from AbdulRahman’s administration

Younger brother of Moshood Mustapha, Abdulhakeem Mustapha, has resigned his appointment as Chairman, Kwara State Education Trust Fund.

The Senior Advocate of Nigeria tendered his resignation letter to the state governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, on Monday, 7th of October, 2024.

Mustapha’s resignation came after the governor directed the demolition of his elder brother’s property, Crystal Palace Mall, for contravening the Kwara State Land Act.

Although, the legal practitioner did not cite reasons for his resignation.

But some quarters, however, adduced his withdrawal from governor AbdulRahman’s administration to his indignation arising from the latter’s demolition of his elder brother’s property.

The governor has been having a running rift with the Moshood Mustapha since the 2023 general elections, where he was alleged to have worked against his re-election.
