Davido finally takes down disrespecting video, yet to apologise

Popular Afrobeats singer and record label boss, David Adeleke, otherwise known as Davido, after hours of public backlashes has eventually bowed to pressure as he deleted the controversial video of his signee, Logos Olori ’s new single ‘Jaye Lo’ which he shared on Twitter.

The City Gazette reported that the video contained a scene in which people were praying and dancing on prayer mats in front of a mosque.

The video, therefore brought the superstar under severe attack with muslim faithful expressing disapproval of the clip for undermining Islam.

Also, thousands of ssocial edia users have asked the singer to delete the offensive video and apologise to the muslim community.

After hours of rrefusal, the DMW owner eventually deleted the video from his page on Sunday.

This platform observes that the denigrating clip has been deleted on his verified Twitter handle but he has yet to apologise to the muslim faithful as of press time.
