If there is something the Arsenal team is good at, that would definitely be surprises. The Gunners fans are in a high distillation of excitement as Arsenal have beaten Real Madrid in the first leg of the Champions League quarter final on Tuesday’s night through Declan Rice ‘s mind-blowing efforts.

Arsenal started the match with a very high spirit, dictating the tempo of the game and stamping their authority in the midfield.

It took until twenty minutes before Vinicius Junior curled wide an effort after which the like of Luka Modric, Camavinga, and Jude Bellingham were boxed by Arsenal tactical brilliance.

Declan Rice proved why the North London team bought him for £105million from West Ham United last summer after curling two superb free kicks around Madrid’s defence and then past goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois to give Arsenal a 2-0 lead in the second half.

Winger Bukayo Saka deserved some praise for driving through the opponent defence to create the two free kicks that were brilliantly converted by Rice.

Then, in the 75th minute, Gunners’ emergency striker Mikel Merino took an assist from Lewis Skelly to strengthen Arsenal lead, taking the scoreline to 3-0.

The visitors undoubtedly put up a very dismal performance despite being the defending champions.

At the end of the match Declan Rice receive Man of the Match Award for his excellent display against the Galacticos at the Emirate Stadium.
