Campus Screen, however, took to his Twitter account on Wednesday to apologise to Sola Kafinta over allegation that he sought to have sexual affair with the indigent lady before rendering financial support to her, thereby clarifying that it was an “honest mistake” by one of his editors.
“Apology for misrepresentation/ misuse of words
To whom it may concern, We would like to apologize for the misrepresenting words used in a tweet sent by the campus screen media. On the 11th of January,2023 a tweet was made through the campus screen media’s Twitter account calling out a certain @solakafinta on a matter that transpired between him and a lady named Success Blessing.
“In the tweet, a picture and chat between the said individuals were placed side by side and was quoted as.“ an alleged political fraud promised a lady tuition with the only option of having sexual intercourse with him” We are deeply sorry for using such words “ political fraud” and “ sexual intercourse” rather than using the original word from the chat “get down with me”.
“This was an honest mistake made by one of our editors.
We do regret this mistake and we understand the words were maimed. The brand sincerely apologizes for the misconception these words have caused.
“Sincerely,
“Campus Screen Media”
