It was a horror-filled moment as twenty individuals were trapped in a four-storey building that collapsed on Monday, July 3, 2023 in Dape, Life Camp, Abuja.
The incident took place around 4pm while labourers were working on the construction site in the swampy Dape Area near the Berger Clinic.
The devastated property was said to be a hotel.
It was gathered that the property belongs to one Summit Villa Hotel Services in the Federal Capital Territory.
It was gathered that the victims were trapped in the hotel that has a basement.
The DG FEMA and Director Development Control, Muktar Galadima have swung into action in order to rescue the affected individuals.
