A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Musbahu Esinrogunjo said kwara State civil servants don’t owe any administration appreciation for carrying out its constitutional responsibilities.

The former O to ge crusader made this statement on a radio programme in Ilorin, Wednesday, November 16.

He further disclosed that monthly allocation is meant to be used to clear salary bills and delivery basic infrastructural facilities for the masses to enjoy because it is their resources, noting that no governor will be magnanimous enough to finance his state from private purse.

Esinrogunjo said a performing government does not need rigorous campaign for re-election, therefore charging kwarans to vote out politicians with poor score card and re-elect those ones with enviable performances.

Commenting on his resignation, the former Senior Special Assistant on Rural Mobilization attributed his resignation from the AbdulRahman-led administration to alleged maltreatment and witch-hunting.

He, however, eulogized the exemplary leadership virtues of the former senate president Abubakar Bukola Saraki: “Dr. Bukola Saraki is a leader by practice, he demonstrated what no one can demonstrate with his money and power”.

The former students leader further expressed amazement over Saraki’s recent visit to his Office at Garin Alimi on his way from Abuja.

He said Saraki is a leader worthy of emulation, stressing that despite barrage of political propagandas promoted against him, the two term senator still extends olive branch to his detractors.

Speaking on his rumoured defection from the ruling party, Esinrogunjo confirmed his membership of the APC.

He hinted that he is currently considering a lot of political suitors ahead of next year’s general elections.
