Five individuals have landed in the Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, custody for allegedly using fake letterheads of the Offices of the National Security Adviser and the Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice to dupe unsuspecting members of the public.
The EFCC spokesperson Wilson Uwujaren made this known on Monday.
The suspects are Bashir Ladan, Yakubu Hamza Mohammed, Mohammed Bello, Adamu Ibrahim, and Steven Anom.
The anti-graft commission in its press release said the suspects allegedly plotted and used the fake letterheads to produce fake job opportunities and recommendation letters for financial gains for unsuspecting members of the public.
The suspects will be arraigned before the court once the investigation is concluded, the statement added.
