Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has rejoiced with muslims on the occasion of Eid-el-fitri.
The governor, who is away in Saudi Arabia for Lesser Hajj in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Rafiu Ajakaye on Thursday appealed to adherents of Islam in the state to build their conduct around the teachings of the holy month of Ramadan.
AbdulRahman also extended the celebration of Eidul Fitri to the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, thereby praying Almighty Allah to allow the monarch witness more years filled with good health on the surface of earth.
Meanwhile, former Senate President, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki, in a release by his Media Aide, Yusuph Olaniyonu felicitated muslims around the globe, imploring them to always allow the values taught by the just-ended fasting reflect in every aspect of their human endeavour.
“If we can all continue to be good Muslims and good citizens irrespective of whether we are in Ramadan, then our communities will be a better place for all of us to live and we will enjoy the peace of Almighty Allah.”
