Simon Ekpa, a popular Biafra agitator and separatist, has alleged Southeast governors and leaders of paying lip service to recent spate of insecurity in the region.

Ekpa, the Finland-based lawyer and self-acclaimed Prime Minister of the Biafra Republic Government made this known on Thursday through his official Twitter account.

The City Gazette recalls that southeast governors, Ohaneze Ndigbo and other leaders of the region, held a meeting on Wednesday at the Imo State Governor’s lodge to discuss ways of tackling insecurity.

Ekpa emphasised that the Southeast leaders should stop playing ostrich on the reasons behind insecurity in the region.

He, therefore cautioned the Governors desist from actions capable of escalating in the geopoliticalzone.

“We have observed that the so-called Southeast governors and leaders continue to display the highest level of irresponsibility by threatening Biafrans against peaceful civil disobedience. They have refused to address why Biafrans are sitting at home,” he wrote.
