Arsenal coach Mikel Arteta has stated Chelsea are not reliant on Cole alone, noting that the club is not a one-man team.

The Arsenal manager said amid reports that Cole Palmer may not feature in their Premier League clash against rival gunners on Tuesday.

According to Arteta, the Blues have players of “quality” all over the pitch.

Palmer is Chelsea’s top scorer this season with 23 goals in all competitions.

The 21-year-old was seen wearing strap around his left thigh ahead of the side’s FA Cup semi-final defeat to Manchester City and appeared to be nursing an injury at Wembley.

However, the club announced that an ailment could keep Palmer on the sideline as the team prepares to travel to the Emirates.

But Arteta said: “I don’t know… we have no control over their availability. We only have control over ours.

“Whatever they put out, when you look at the squad, the quality that they have, it’s great.

“I think they are doing very, very well and much better than people say. It will be a tough match, for sure.”
