Manchester City captain Kevin De Bruyne has revealed his intention to leave the Premier League club at the end of the season.

In a social media post on Friday, De Bruyne disclosed that “these will be my final months as a Manchester City player”.

The Belgian midfielder joined City in 2015 from Wolfsburg for a fee of £54.5m.

During his 10-year stay at the Etihad Stadium, the erstwhile chelsea player won six Premier League titles, two FA Cups, five League Cups, and the Champions League.

De Bruyne was instrumental to Pep Guardiola’s treble victory 2020/21.

Last summer, he was subject of interest from several clubs from Saudi Arabia but chose to remain in England.
