Expert advises Tinubu on security challenges

An economist, Opeyemi Agbaje, has advised President-elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu to as a matter of necessity address the growing security menace when when he took baton of power on May 29.

Agbaje issue this admonition while during a lecture at a media parley organised by First City Monument Bank (FCMB) in Abuja.

He noted that if the security challenges were not resolved they would surely retard the socio-economic development of the country.

He advanced the current economic crisis into this country demands a leader with strong political will to contain it.

According to him, there is no way the county would function effectively with with poor leadership.

Agbaje further maintained a mix of market and social policy are precursors for economic growth of the country.

The Vice President, Corporate Affairs of the bank, Diran Olojo, in his opening remark, held that the media has a important role to play in the area national growth and development.

Olojo, thereby, implored journalists to project the country in positive light.
