Popular Nigerian actor Jimi Solanke will be buried on Friday, April 5, at a cemetery in Ogun state.
The schedule for his burial ceremony was made known by members of his family on Tuesday.
The funeral service is slated to take place at the Methodist Church Nigeria in Ipara-Remo, Ogun State.
Solanke died on Monday, February 5, 2024, at the age of 81.
The seven-day programme will start with a choral concert at Ibudo Asa, Ipara Remo, on Monday, April 1, 2024, with events like a night of tribute at Freedom Park, Lagos, candlelight processions at Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Osun State, and Ipara-Remo, Ogun State.
On Saturday, April 6, there will be cultural and masquerade displays, among other programmes.
The ceremony will be concluded on April 7, 2024, with a thanksgiving service.
