Unidentified arm-bearing men suspected to be kidnappers, have whisked away four Students of Kogi State Polytechnic, along the Akunnu-Ajowa Road, in the Akoko area of Ondo State.
The victims who were abducted at Ago Jinadu area, in Akoko on Friday while returning home for festive celebration.
In a similar development, the Police have apprehended the mechanic of the late Augustine Okoye, a popular cream dealer in Ikare-Akoko, who was killed by kidnappers last week.
The late businessman allegedly died after severe battering in the hands of his abductors after his family had paid ransom.

The deceased wife, Mrs Bolaji Okoye, informed the police that her husband’s mechanic, Segun, was seen in the bush, while they were being held hostage.
The Ikare Police Area Commander, ACP Muri Agboola, while lending credence to the two incidents, said search are ongoing to rescue the abducted students, while the mechanic to the late Okoye has been transferred to Police headquarters in Akure to know his level of involvement in the ongoing case.
