Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has forwarded names of commissioner-nominees and Special advisers to the State House of Assembly for legislative confirmation.
This is in a bid to beat the legal timeframe set by the country’s 1999 constitution as amended, that governors and president must submit lists of their commissioner and minister-nominees within 90 days of inauguration.
According to a statement by the Chief Press Secretary to the Kwara State Speaker, Sheu Abdulkadir Yusuf, AbdulRazaq on Thursday submitted names of Twenty (20) commissioner-nominees and Ten (10) Special advisers to the legislative Arm of Government for confirmation.
