Osun state governor, Ademola Adeleke, on Friday, March 8, 2023 paid the president of the Dangote group, Aliko Dangote, a courtesy visit at his office in Lagos.

It was gathered that Adeleke’s visit to the multibillionaire business mogul was a strategic move to clinch collaboration opportunities between Osun state and the Dangote Group.

The City learnt woed the Kano born conglomerate to invest in the ongoing road construction projects across the state.

Governor Adeleke made this known while sharing his pictures on his official X handle.

He wrote: “Today, I visited my big brother, Alhaji Aliko Dangote GCON (#AlikoDangote), the president of the Dangote group in his office in Lagos. We discussed possible ways of collaboration between Osun and the Dangote group to deliver on our ongoing road construction projects across the state.

“We exchanged ideas and discussed the possibility of the state using concrete cement to build strong and lasting road networks.

“Our deliberation concluded on setting up a collaborative meeting between the officers of the Osun state Ministry of Works and the engineers of Dangote Group to further discussion on building lasting road networks using concrete cement and most importantly engaging indigenous engineers from Osun during the construction process.

“I was also delighted to have the daughter of Alhaji, Fatima Aliko-Dangote with us at the meeting.”
