Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun has appointment five new permanent secretaries in the state civil service.
The announcement was made in a statement by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Kunle Somorin, on Friday in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital.
The CPS said the newly appointed permanent secretaries would occupy fill the existing vacuum in the state civil service.
He noted that seniority, merit, professionalism and inclusiveness formed basis for the appointments.

Somorin said the governor depends on the provision of Section 208 (c) of the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (as amended) for the appointments.
the newly appointed permanent secretaries include Mr Sakirudeen Salaam, Mr Adesoji Adewuyi, Mr Hammed Ojo, Mr Adesina Towolawi and Dr. Olayinka Elemide.
The Governor congratulated the public servants and further implored them prepare the new challenge ahead and display high-level of diligence to the “Building Our Future Together” agenda of his administration.
