Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has commissioned the 2.5km Njobbore Road in Vunoklang, Girei Local Government of Adamawa State.
The commissioning ceremony coincided with Mr. Fintiri’s 55th birthday celebration on Thursday, October 27th, 2022.
In acknowledgement of the project as a birthday gift, Mr Fintiri eulogized residents of the community for their unwavering cooperation and prayer, stressing that he would not cease in his resolution to make life better for the populace.
The project which took eight months to complete was initiated by the Fintiri-led administration closing the gap between flash floods, and erosion the people experienced decades ago.
The residents of this area came out to witness the official flag-off of the road performed by Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri in the company of his deputy, Chief Crowther Seth, and other top government functionaries.
The State Commissioner of Works and Energy, Adamu Atiku heaped praise on the Governor’s effort in his giant strides in infrastructure and other developmental projects.
A series of goodwill messages were delivered by the district head of Girei as presentations of awards, and entertainment followed.
