Kogi State governor, Usman Ahmed Ododo, has reportedly whisked away the former governor of the state, Yahaya Bello, out his Abuja home.
Ododo was seem at the residence of the erstwhile governor in Abuja on Wednesday, following a siege by personnel of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, and other security agencies in an attempt to apprehend him.
There was a restriction of movement in and around Bello’s house located on Benghazi Street, Wuse Zone 4, although the reason for the restriction was attributed to the allegation of N84bn money laundering earlier preferred against him.
According to TheCable, an operative Face of the anti-graft commission was heard while communicating with his superior on the phone, saying Bello was whisked away in Ododo’s car.
Shortly after Ododo’s departure from Bello’s residence, the EFCC officials also disembarked.
