Katsina State Governor, Dikko Umaru Radda, has ratified the appointment of Alhaji Saidu Ibrahim Danja as Senior Special Assistant (SSA) for Victims of Banditry and Internally Displaced Persons, IDPs.
The appointment is aimed at tackling the prevalent security battling the state challenges faced as well as improving the welfare of internally displaced persons.
The appointment of Danja was communicated in a letter signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Arc. Ahmed Musa Dangiwa.
In his congratulatory message to Danja, Dangiwa said “the appointment reflects Governor Radda’s confidence in Danja’s ability to serve the community’s best interests and contribute to the state’s efforts in addressing the challenges faced by victims of banditry and internal displacement.”
According to a press release by the Chief Press Secretary to Katsina Governor, Danja would collaborate with relevant stakeholders to oversee efforts to support victims of banditry and internally displaced persons.
Danja would also help facilitate access to shelter, healthcare, education, and livelihood opportunities.
