Unknown gunmen have reportedly attacked a police station in Lau Gunmen attack police station in Taraba Government Council of Taraba state.
Multiple sources said that the incident happened in the wee hours of Saturday, August 19, 2023.
While lending credence to the development, the state command Public Relations Officer, PPRO, Abdullahi Usman, revealed that the attack took place at around 2am.
He noted the hoodlums who invaded the community decided to wreak havocs following their inability to find their target.
It was gathered that neither the vilagers nor police operatives suffered injury.
Accordingto Usman, the bandits only disturbed the peace of the community.
Some of the community members who confided in the press stated that the bandits, on arriving the community, shot indiscriminately in the air.
