Unknown armed men wreaked attack on security checkpoint in Enugu State on Sunday as police officers reportedly lost their lives in the process.
This medium gathered that the scene of the attack was close to the University of Nigeria, Enugu Campus, UNEC.
An eyewitness confirmed that the police operatives who were on stop and search mission at the checkpoint were caught unprepared.
Meanwhile, the Enugu State Police Command has yet to make any official comment on the fatal attack.
