Former Super Eagles captain, John Mikel Obi, has debunked insinuation that he us at loggerheads with legendary singer, 2face Idibia aka 2baba.
There were multiple reports that Mikel Obi shunned 2baba at a nightclub in London in 2006.
Some years down the line, 2face released ‘Only me’, lending credibility to rumoured long-standing beef between him and the former Chelsea midfielder.
However, Mikel Obi has now claimed that the incident never happened.
The former Lyn Oslo player has declared that is a fan of 2baba and would always hold him in high esteem.
On Instagram, a user with the handle @xfranky22 commented: “Did you truly snub 2face at a club in London back in 2006?”
In response, Mikel Obi said: “No, I never did. Am a big fan of his. So I wouldn’t do such a thing. Have a lovely day.”
