Renowned Nollywood actor and Lawyer, Kanayo O. Kanayo in social media comment said he refused to celebrate his birthday today.
The famous thespian who is a staunch supporter of Peter Obi who ran for the office of Nigerian president under the Labour Party, LP, confessed that he would not celebrate his birthday because of the result of the February 25 presidential election.
According to him, he is not happy, saying Independent and National Electoral Commission, INEC needs to be accountable to Nigerians over the outcome of the recently concluded general elections last Saturday.
Kanayo O. Kanayo added;
“I am not celebrating my birthday today because INEC sold SHAME in the market. God bless you my fans and well wishers for your support and prayers.”
Kanayo O. Kanayo alongside fellow superstars such as P-square, Mr. Macaroni, Kenneth Okonkwo among others in the buildup to the general elections openly declared their support to the former two-term governor of Anambra system.
Obi, in the result, officially announced by the INEC in the early hours of Wednesday, March 1 came third behind Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress, APC, who emerged president-elect and the former Vice President, Abubakar Atiku of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, who was the first runner up.
