Popular Afrobeat singer, Burna Boy has revealed that he had now amassed wealth more than most of the Nigerian politicians and oil moguls he used looked up to.
He made this disclosure in a post via his Instagram account on Saturday, while charging his enthusiasts not to look down on the less privileged.
Speaking about his financial status, the singer said “Imagine growing up and only oil men and politicians were the ones really getting the real money followed by the G boys. Music wasn’t even in the conversation when money was the topic.
“Now an ugly black musician from Port Harcourt got more money than 90% of the people he looked up to as money makers.”
Burna Boy admonished his fanbase not to underestimate people because they could become tomorrow’s Elon Musk.
