Transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, has revealed that Manchester United are currently making plans working to secure the signature of Japanese goalkeeper Zion Suzuki.
Romano, however, disclosed that Inter Milan’s Andre Onana remains United’s top target, with the Japanese player being a back up plan in case the chase for Onana failed to materialise.
According to Romano, United are seriously chasing the signatures of Suzuki and two others as David De Gea’s replacement.
Commenting via his official Twitter handle, Romano said, “Manchester United are working on Zion Suzuki deal. Japanese goalkeeper is one of 3 options as backup GK and talks are now taking place on player side. No talks yet with Urawa Reds as Man United are busy with André Onana deal being completed.”
