England midfielder Jude Bellingham has made a revelation about his preferred position in the English team.
He made this known after his sterling performance for the Three Lions’ 3-1 victory against Scotland.
Bellingham found back of the net as England beat Scotland at Hampden Park in a friendly encounter on Tuesday.
The former Borussia Dortmund star was part of the build-up to Phil Foden’s goal before registering his name on the scoresheet minutes later and also setting up Harry Kane.
Bellingham was deployed in the No. 10 position against Scotland, a similar role he plays at Real Madrid.
Reacting after the match, the player said: “I was not happy with how I played against Ukraine [on Saturday]. It was not anywhere near my best, and the motivation is always to get back to your best. I got somewhere close tonight.
“I know it depends on the system we play, and we’ve got so many amazing players to accommodate, and so the team comes first always. I really enjoyed playing in that [same] position today.”
