Vice Chancellor, Kwara State University, Professor Muhammed Mustapha Akanbi has died in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
The story of his death was confirmed by a close ally who craved anonymity, noting that the erudite scholar died on Sunday evening, November 20.
The Senior Advocate of Nigeria was said to have been receiving medical attention for his flailing health in the Arab country for several months before his eventual demise.
Recall that Akanbi had sometime in 2020 travelled to the UAE where he received medical treatment for about six months.
