The management of Kaduna Electric has announced that it has laid off 39 workers from the company for various illegal practices.
The company made this announcement through a statement signed by it’s Head of Corporate Communication, Abdulazeez Abdullahi, who claimed that the offences bothers on misappropriation of company’s funds, fraudulent practices, unauthorized access and abscondment.
The statement read, “These offenses were in violation of the recently endorsed revised employee conditions of service, which was supported by the national leadership of the two in-house labor unions and the management led by the Managing Director/CEO, Yusuf Usman Yahaya.”
The statement furthered that the staff’s illegal actions had affected the company’s financial standing and must be addressed.
The statement thereby implored customers to disgard the fraudulent individuals as employees of Kaduna Electric and should not engage them in any business concerning the electricity outfit.
